Tharu Village Tour & Cultural Dance

The Tharu people are the indigenous inhabitants of Tarai. We offer guided culture tours to meet them and experience their traditional way of life. At the hotel, we feature an ethnic Tharu dance exhibiting traditional movements. We invite guests to join them in this rhythmic display.

Chitwan National park has a sub-tropical climate. Light clothes with natural colors are recommended. During the winter months from November to early March the morning and evening are cold and warm clothes are necessary. Casual comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended during the day for easy movement. In the rainy season July, August and September, rainwear is a must. We highly recommended our guests to bring a Camera, Binoculars, Torch, Insect repellent, swim wear, Sunhat and Sun protection for outdoor activities.
